I did a random act of kindness today and it felt so good. I was told that I was the best, did not see that one coming.

Whenever I come home, Stuie (the dog) tail thumps against the back of the sofa. Buddy Rich (I'm dating myself) would be envious of the beat.

Tiny little wildflowers. So tiny that you have to look really close to see, and when you do get close enough, you realize that they're exquisite. :)

When our little girl cat Sonja jumps up on the bed for me to pet her. She never snuggles with either of us, but that's okay. She's who she is. She just jumps up and steps on top of us both for us to pet her for a couple minutes or so.

I'm also happy when our eldest cat Robert comes up and snuggles with me at night. Though it is kind of a pain to then adjust my head without alarming him so his whiskers are not tickling my face. He's an "in your face" cat, lol.

Puppies and misty weather at dawn are my favorite small things.
.....also the way it feels when a sleepy baby rests their head on your shoulder while you rock them to sleep.

That perfect first bite of whatever dunked into hot strong coffee. Feeding the birds. My mom and anything she does. Giving a little boy a dollar to buy churros, his face lit up.
