Grab your Anti-anxiety meds and your weighted blankets. It's election day and the results from each state are coming in. There is no denying that this is the most terrifying election the U.S. has ever had. For those of us who are trying to follow the election in spite of it all, I figured we could use a support thread. Deep breaths, we can get through this together.

Thank you Fadeaway. I'm currently in my graduate class right now until 9pm and I'm not doing well. Came on to regulate, and I appreciate it. I think the book title that best describes this election for me is probably Shatter Me (by Tahereh Mafi) the way my night is going for emotional regulation.

I should probably clarify I'm probably using that as a personification of what's going on internally DUE TO the election. Maybe a more appropriate book would be Lord of the Flies.
