My daughter told me she was going to come and look after me when I turn 50 because I will be too old to look after myself... I turned 50 and my darling daughter said, I thought you would be older than that when your 50, you'll be right dad :)

One time when tears were falling, and we were all sitting at the dinner table, my young son said that's alright mommy, right, sometimes you're just sad, no reason. Right?

With youngsters you also find what you say most frequently. My youngest use to say all the time, "who knows mama who knows?!". Apparently not me! lol

When my oldest was about two he learned a new swear word. SOB(Fill in). I told him that that wasn't polite, that he should say son of a gun instead. He told me he liked SOB better. Um yes. No honey, it's not better! lol

My grand daughter has an ornery sense of humor. And she is only in preschool. My son in law got her to say "Mommy got her tattoo in prison" so she will say that to my daughter to get a laugh. Even in public, LOL.

NO prison, by the way, LOL.

My son, when little, had his toy taken away for being naughty. The deal was he would get it the next day. So he gets ready for bed, ponders it, and comes back out to tell me that it is the next day somewhere. I told him we were talking about here though.
