I wish my sisters were anything like that. In my family, that kind of support and companionship really is asking too much. So okay, then there are friends. I have one friend, possibly two, I can see showing that much vulnerability to. But they wouldn't have time or energy for something like this. One of them might in the summer when she isn't working. Is it PTSD that has cut down on my ability to make connections, or the lack of connections that has exacerbated my PTSD? I think both. But thank you for reminding me that it's normal to need people. In my little world it mostly seems like it isn't, so it's easy to forget.
