I think that rather than belittling you for your choice, most of us would probably feel jealous :) I would love to be able to do something creative as my career! It really doesn't matter what it is, or how much you get paid to do it, as long as it's a positive step and feeling in your life then it is something you should be proud of. The longer you're on here, the more you'll realize that we really don't judge :)

And you know what? This preoccupation with accomplishments is just bloody stupid! You don't have to be a success at something to deserve to do it.

wow, I didn´t even mention perfectionism and the fear of failure, but this is and has always been a big issue for me... interesting you brought it up! When it comes to recovery I can´t settle for the transitory improvements that I had so far, just to relapse again and again. And it really is becoming more difficult to deal with, you said it!
