So it turns out I was full blown panicking about my symptoms at work. I guess because I was overwhelmed with them I thought my work had to be too. I did inform my boss of dealing with an anxiety issue. She was not only very nice about it but she told me I had nothing to be anxious about because
I was doing a great job. Wow. I'm so grateful but man I really need to work on being more realistic about how "bad" I am in situations. Thank you to everyone who offered advice and support...just thought I'd give an update in case anyone had wondered :)

What should I say about my actions after PTSD/panic took over? How in the hell do I do the best damage control? Should I offer and explanation for these behaviors or only if she asks for one first?

Wow, you tell them PTSD is something else. We are not depressed its a severe mind altering condition. My psychologist has told me to go back to my job and explain why I behaved like the did. But he's right we have a severe problem not caused by us!
We are good people that want to be good employees!
Tell them you have PTSD ! All u lot saying don't tell them! PTSD isn't our fault but is unbelievable different to depression and anxiety alone.
Sorry but thank god I've found others exactly like me with vocab not holding back what's happening. X
