Ok... they have begun... so what are they for?

The trauma and stressor forums are for the specific forum title discussion topics only, they ARE NOT for anyone with that trauma to discuss anything they want in that forum. There is a difference between topical and off-topic.

The forums will grow in time as more become requested by members because they want to talk specifically about their type of trauma. I have no intention of creating a lot of them though before actual use.

If you request it, you want to use it, otherwise you're wasting my time, which I may not be overly happy with.

Categorisation will be at the broadest spectrum as well, and not specific to your exact trauma. For example, "Medical" instead of Anesthesia awareness, because there are lots of medical trauma, not just one type, so the broadest category is used to cover the trauma subject, thus we don't end up with hundreds of trauma forums.

If PD is a symptom - ie result of trauma, then I would expect to see a thread started in the symptoms forum.

I think Anthony, from his opening post was meaning this forum is about things that cause the trauma. Examples might be Natural disasters, Accidents or Violence.

A personality disorder did not cause trauma, it can be that a person has a personality disorder and then abuses the child as a result. Did the child endure the personality disorder? No... they endured the abuse, they didn't endure the symptoms or such of the personality disorder. So no... as per @Lucycat stated. A personality disorder is a diagnosis, and that is covered in a forum already for those with PTSD + personality disorder.

Trauma / Stressor

I like the trauma/stressor forums being all together here. But could they be moved up the page a bit? It's probably just my mind being over logical - but it just makes more sense for them to be next to the PTSD section?

There is a miscellaneous forum for people to post within, and from there I can take out subjects and create specific forums. I already pretty much know what subjects will get created, because they all need to be traumas that meet criterion A.
