Hey Ned,
It seems hard to not be in the wrong on some sort of law in the UK these days. I was in London near the entrance of Hide Park a couple years back and there was literally a 4 meter tower of signs saying what you could not do in that area. My attitude towards London kind of went sour that day. Other parts are great. I could murder a Steak and Kidney pie right now. Pint of real Ale........or 2.
