As I posted before, last night was the worst since the fire. However, I've decide to try and look at the positive.
1) His symptoms showed up early, which means he has a better chance of a positive result from therapy.
2) He is actively seeking help, instead of denying the problem.
3) He is willing to talk to me and his friends. He admits to not wanting to share 100% with me as he is afraid of a shift in our relationship dynamics.
4) Even on a bad day he still wants to cuddle at night.
5) He isn't violent, or abusive in any way. Just withdrawn.
6) We have a huge support network. I've been living with my diagnosis for over a decade and so my family is hugely supportive of open dialogue about mental Heath.
7) He is spending time with his children.
8) He is able to recognize when he needs to leave a situation.
