Well, Canadians now list the US as the greatest threat to world peace, according to poll released last week (or a couple of days ago, I can't remember) . I'm surprised and unsurprised at the same time. Saddened, regardless.

I (apparently) don't speak for the majority of Canada.
I don't think America is the biggest threat to peace. The way that everyone who has the power to overrule Trumph's random unpopular "executive orders", has been doing so consistently, every time he enacts one. Tells me that the moral compass of the US people is still pointing in the right direction.

I'm sure most everyone else can see it too. The Canadian media is just as fear mongering as in the US these days.

Honestly I don't think those Generals know much about war either.
What are we benefiting over there? Why is this warfare prolonged we are playing world police and these Taliban strike with Improvised Explosive Devices and RPGs. They move like ghosts. There is no winning that war in the mountains either.
Some of the FOB placements and Combat Outpost placements were down right suicidal. It's a lost cause.
Another organized meat grinder to send the youth into coming back with traumatic brain injuries and PTSD from all the blasts.
And for what? The ground gets taken right back by the Taliban soon as anybody pulls out or the area is just simply too hot to hold.

Trump & Clinton answer to the Council of Foreign relations. The people are simply given the illusion of choice. The president has been and will continue to be hand picked. Like a teamsters union with the mafia in Vegas.

@Dr.Knowbuddy My point was...... Trump "thinks" he knows more than anyone, even the generals that have been in service for yrs. Trump on the other hand never served in the service, and got 5 deferments, 1 cause his foot hurt!!!!! He "thinks" he knows more than anyone!!!!

And he lied again, saying that the Mexican government called him and said that less people are trying to cross the border because people know they won't get across because of Trumps tough stance. NOPE! No one called him!!!!! Just like he lied about the head of the Boy Scouts called him after his speech to congratulate him on his awesome speech. NOPE!
