User Map Now Live

You cannot opt out of the map, and it is anonymous data. It doesn't show any usernames for any locations, and as stated, the actual login location shown can be a long way from your actual location... it could also be suburbs away, and will vary depending on your ISP's load at any given time.

Big Bear, there is an icon up beside the address bar that you have to click on. It looks like a little shield ( beside the https:) click on it and then click on the drop down menu beside "Keep Blocking" and choose "Disable Protection". That should open the map.

I may have now fixed this... I think. Changed the js retrieve file to fetch https, as it was fetching http version, which was causing the issue I think.

If you try it now in Firefox, IE or Chrome, it should just fetch secure content... fingers crossed.

OK, so I know that there is at least 1 other registered member in my state, but no pin.

They could have, they may not have... however; ISP's route your login across states, so the information you see isn't always correct. An ISP doesn't show your address, it shows where you're routed to the nearest IP connection they have you logged at. ISP's route users from streets, suburbs, towns and states apart, depending on their load, work performed on equipment, so forth.

Sometime we're located as logged in within Melbourne, others we show as Sydney or Adelaide (both different states), and at times our login location moves across the city and such. It just all depends on many factors.
