There is the option of using links
I think previous advice has been to search for a post by the member and report via that (assuming they have a post history, which is not always the case with new members in chat)

I was only raising it as if this is going to be a go-to 'how to report' thread it would be useful to include.

@joeylittle i love love love the new add ons on the popup profile page! Now its even easier to view media and stuff.

On my own is just profile page and report, so report is on your own? What happens if i report myself :p just kidding, im a trouble maker lol.

I understand it being on your threads if it needs to be moved or something but is there a feasible time when i would want to report myself in the black popup thing?

I know report is very underused, I only used it once, and i just wanna learn is all.

Yes - most likely would be if you accidentally cast a vote to ban someone in chat, you could report yourself to let us know that you did that.

Generally, it's best to report content; so, if it's on a thread, report the thread. If it's a comment on a profile page, report the comment. But, if a member has done something and you're not sure which content to base the report on, you can just report the member - and that would go for yourself, as well.
