Hi, I am looking for two friends.
I am in rurual Utah and don't expect to find someone near me, so an Internet friend would work just fine. Here are a description of the two friends I am looking for:
PTSD sufferer/survivor/thriver:
I would like a friend that also has PTSD so we can talk like real people (if you know what I mean). I would prefer a friend who has trauma caused young adult or adult experiences. I feel most connected those those whose trauma was caused by such things as war/violence, abduction and alienation, long term violence, total loss or property and displacement, or psychological coersion. I'd really like a friend who has experienced Stockholm syndrome (or whatever it is now called). I feel I best relate to those who have experienced these things. I sympathize with all who have PTSD, and would love a friend who has PTSD for any other reason as well. I just thik we could benefit each other the most if we have had similar experiences.
Person in a relationship with a PTSD diagnosed partner:
I would like a friend that is in a relationship with someone with PTSD. What I would like from this friend is someone who I can be honest with and get advice about how to be a better companion to the man who has stuck by me for the past four years. I've put him through hell, but I have slowly learned how to do better by him. I still have a ways to go and I would like to be able to ask this friend questions when I encounter situations where I don't know what to do.
I am in my late twenties, and am female. I don't mind male or female friends, or where they are located. I don't mind any age.
Please consider becoming my friend!
Peace and love!
