Vet With Multiple Deployments And Therapist

I enlisted in the Army in 1966 during Vietnam. On discharge in 1969 I was feed-up with the military wanting nothing else to do with it. But after completing a college program I went back in, retiring in 2003 with 33 years of military service. I spend my last years as a chaplain counseling with soldiers and families both back in garrison and during deployments. My enlisted time taught me to be a no BS person. In fact, after a deployment my own stuff caught up with me and I eventually had to deal with it. After retirement in 2003 I started a counseling center where myself and a staff of others work with me as we work with soldiers, veterans and families with PTSD. We are located in Clarksville, TN, near Ft Campbell, KY. You can check out my work by Googling "Soldier-Center." I honor each of you for your service.

Hey Echo

Welcome to the forums. It's good to see another 'Nam vet still kickin'. Sounds like you're doing a great job helping other vets in need. Can't think of a higher calling. Well Done.

Belated Welcome EC
I just retired myself. Thanks for your service an for being an advocate for other wounded warriors.

Grab a pew and rest a while EC.

Respect for the work you have been doing, looking after brothers and their families, even when suffering yourself.

But then most of us find helping others easier.
