Sufferer Veteran With Ptsd

I had to join the site when i read a few stories from both sides suffers and supporters. My initial shock or "event" was in Afghanistan in 2002. 12 years later I was finally diagnosed last year by the VA. I started going to the VA in 2007 after a DUI. I feel I've been through hell and back in war, jail, dealing with the VA, and PTSD. I joined for help myself and to help others.
