I am now in the process of weaning off the Pristiq, I have to cut down to one a day for four days then one every alternate day. In the meantime, I am on Mirtazapine Solutab 15 mg which makes me drowsy. I have to be on that for the four days.

Then I start a new medication, well it's new in this part of the world.

Hey Jimmy,

What's the new med for and what's it suppose to replace? Just curious. I think the fewer meds you can be on the better it is all around.

I just suggest to anyone that's younger, which is everybody at this point, to see about doing what you're doing. As you get older you naturally bring more problems into the mix and sometimes other meds as well. It's hard to 'toughen the f*ck up' sometimes. ..................miss that guy.

Well.........ROTFLMAO........When your an old Nam Vet, like the others on the forum and I'm one on the young side at 64. When I left Nam I was 19 going on 40+, in my head anyway...... :)

I tell people that 1 year in Iraq is like a dog year. That means that 2 deployments is 14 + about 4 months and I'm 30 so I'm pushing 50.

Lol I love it! I heard that 1 year service = 4 years. So I can technically say that I am in my 40s. Which means I must be one good looking motherf*cker for my age!

lol, I like that one, but it would make me just over twice my age. Besides I think that would have to depend on your MOS. I have heard of people that has some pretty chill jobs when not deployed.
