Just back from a lovely walk. The dogs thought it was great fun and Max went into his usual pond:eek:.

Great pics KP! The dogs sure looked like they enjoyed it and good for you too!

I tried taking some photos of butterfly's recently but they fly off before I can get them!

A blot on the landscape or industrial art?

I don't know but my grandfather used to paint them!

I'm going for my walk this afternoon and tomorrow I might tackle Frodsham Hill, Helsby and the Sandstone Trail with my eldest Son. This will definitely need waking poles as my knees won't stand it!

Next Thursday will be a  walk! I'm not looking forward to it at all. I did this walk when I was younger and it is stunning but I'm so much older now and it is very steep. The walk will be a climb up to High Street (an old Roman Road across the mountains), and back down into Mardale and Haweswater Reservoir.

Crafty Cath does not like heights!!!!!

I'm actually really nervous as I don't know if I can make it that high anymore. But I promised my Son and said he could lead the walk. You need an OS map for this kind of thing and although I'm a good map reader I have a hopeless sense of direction and can't use a compass.

Wish me luck!
