Walking For Health

Thanks a lot Crafty Cath. I enjoyed all pics. I love walking barefooted on grass especially morning time when it is showered by morning drop water(natural ones). So soothing and relaxing it. I would love to have a walk in this places. Beautiful beyond words. :)

This morning, I got up and put sweats on over my jammies, put the leash on the dog and went for a walk. We were only out for about 30 minutes but I was outdoors alone for the first time in over a week. I have really been struggling lately. I have spent the last three days in my room due to flash backs. I didn't climb a mountain or hike a trail but I went outside and I walked. I am celebrating every step of that walk.

And I celebrate with you saao!

Well done! It doesn't need to be a mountain or even a hill but there is healing in seeing nature and in just being outside.

When we get down days or weeks we can always know that we once we feel a little better we can head out doors and be surrounded by beauty, even if we have to look a little harder to find it.

They are great KP! Thanks for sharing them. x

All I have managed today is a walk in the rain to my local shop for some loo roll!

The pain in my side is too much to walk to far and my car is in the garage again.

I managed a short walk around the village today but it aggravated the kidney pain so I didn't go to far.

H is off on Saturday so I might get a little further.

Yesterday I did a 3 mile walk around Beeston and Peckforton Castles in Cheshire UK. (See 'Photos od Nature where you live thread for more photos.)

The walk was steep in parts ans I really struggled; I was so tired. We walked across fields, through woodland, around and across Peckforton Hill and up Beeston Crag to the Castle. It was a beautiful day, with lots of sunshine but bitterly cold at times.
