Today my landlord dropped the bombshell that I need to move out for two weeks while they do a major refurbishment to my home. This was the first I'd heard about any refurbishment apart the bathroom being turned into a wet room. Now they're talking about knocking out walls, changing external doorways, dry cladding the walls and ripping out all the stuff that makes this place feel like a home and making already small rooms even smaller.

I know the work is necessary but no one has fore warned me about this, no one knows when this work is being done or where me and my pets are going to be housed or anything. Or even if I can stay here while its done. They are talking about knocking the heart out of my home and they are not even consulting me on anything.

A little on edge due to the widespread flooding, storms, and heavy rains, etc.

Feeling super perturbed by the f'n idiots who still think it's a good idea to try to bury big ass pipelines in this karst terrain that's steadily being washed away as they continue to work even harder at f*cking up our drinking water by not being mindful of the little details......like the fact that water=life.

Can't drink gas, not that it's ever been meant to directly benefit anyone living near it anyway, and that coal ash sure leaves a bad taste in the mouths of those living around their chosen dumping grounds, not to mention a lifetime of supposedly unexplainable and highly expensive medical issues.

Of course, it's never directly in the backyards of the ones requesting and profiting from it, either. All decisions are based solely on who buys out the decision makers first. Ahhh...the 'murican way.

Crimes against humanity for a little more fake fiat to have on hand to exchange for even more certain death and destruction. The so-called American dream becomes more nightmarish and embarrassing as each day passes.
