@EverOnly358 - Yes, not getting enuf sleep does mess with everything. I hope you can get a solid nap in. They save me.

That said, I am pleased to announce I had decent sleep. Hooray. So I am feeling solid. My PTSD symptoms pick up as day goes into night so I am feeling fine still. No physical pain. A little bit of a fast heart rate. Will work out. Feel balanced. No nutty or intrusive thoughts. Feel content.

Come a sleepless night - things are quite different.

Hey @franciemarnie, what do you define as a solid nap? Because sometimes napping just makes it worse... I think I sleep too long when napping then I have even more trouble getting to sleep at bedtime. What do you find works for a restorative nap that doesn't mess with going to sleep later at night?

@EverOnly358 - You know your delightful spirit shows thru even when you are exhausted. I feel like a zombie person void of all life and light when I am pooped. I know it's not true but it feels like it, like I am filled with cardboard.

A nap of half an hour or 45 minutes works for me. Longer than an hour I fall into a deep dream sleep and wake groggy and out of sorts, but everyone is different.

Actually sometimes my naps aren't naps at all, but deeply restful lay-downs where I have access to consciousness but I am too exhausted to move. Then I usually do body scans and see what's popping in my ever changing energy system. There is always something moving in my feet and left calve. It's kind of interesting and meditative.

Can you rest today? Maybe just close your eyes and lay still for a little while?
