What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

I did not know that doing small consistent acts of random kindness could enrich my own life so much and bring those feelings of community, connection and contentment.

Today for random acts I helped up a small child that got stuck in a wave, I rescued a boogie board that a little girl had lost hold of and I complimented people on their children and dogs and exchanged some nice comments and pleasantries and had a few nice moments when I did some small helpful things for other people. Laughing with people at the antics of small children.
 
I am feeling disappointed. I decided that I am not ready for the nicotine patch as I smoked while on it yesterday and became confused and depressed, and discovered that this is a dangerous practice, so I am going to concentrate on getting my blood sugar levels in the proper range first.

I will talk to my doctor about Chantix and other smoking cessation methods and try it again when the time is right. For now, I need to forgive myself for failing to stop smoking and chalk it up to experience. I am not giving up though, I am simply regrouping 'cause as they say, "it is time to back up and punt" :p
