I am feeling disappointed. I decided that I am not ready for the nicotine patch as I smoked while on it yesterday and became confused and depressed, and discovered that this is a dangerous practice, so I am going to concentrate on getting my blood sugar levels in the proper range first.
I will talk to my doctor about Chantix and other smoking cessation methods and try it again when the time is right. For now, I need to forgive myself for failing to stop smoking and chalk it up to experience. I am not giving up though, I am simply regrouping 'cause as they say, "it is time to back up and punt" :p
