Just got home from the saturday market. I put in a 8-3 kind of day, and not a lot of work overall, just selling my veggies with my team. I am a college mentor with the youth farm, a segment of our youth development program. I feel anxious to get my life started, I know I did a good job, yet it isn't enough have to work harder!
Going to eat, and then give produce to the neighbor across the street. Poor lady has been on her own since she was 11, and has kids now. She is struggling to make ends meet. Living with grandma, and feeling useless, will go give fresh organic produce to lady and try to get her kid into the program. Will make the kid 800$$ this at the end of the summer, very good since she is too young for a "real job". More importantly she will learn to grow her own produce and may start a garden in her back yard to feed her family.
Will check in before night is over. Feeling great despite it all.
