I can be a good friend to folks, because when I am missing from my friends (ie: home sick) I hear about how much everyone misses me over and over again. I make friends easily too, and have many friends. A few folks from church have called me during my recent illnesses too. One in particular knows that I have very few phone minutes, but she will call me just to see if I am OK, then keep it brief and let me go, before 4-5 minutes are up. She is conscious of my needs, and a very caring person to boot. Also, when she was on chemo, I called her quite often so we could stay in touch and she knew I cared.

I have been able to be a good writer, and I recently wrote a prayer called MY FIRST THING IN THE MORNING PRAYER and my pastor likes the idea that I gave her permission to print it in the church newsletter! I can't wait to see it in print.

Speaking of prayer, I am what is called a PRAYER WARRIOR and I pray a lot daily for many folks. I see results too, but I also do not hesitate to ask others to pray in the special cases, the ones that are in danger with serious illness or even death. I also started the PRAYER REQUESTS thread here on these forums in the SOCIAL section as well as another one called CHRISTIANS UNITE! I have a very strong faith and I am not ashamed to say that I believe in Jesus.

Dogs love me. Several of my neighbors have some dogs and they all go crazy for me when they see me. I love them too, of course!

I have a great singing voice, but due to health reasons I am unable to sing at this time. (recovering from Pleurisy, a lung infection). I used to sing in the church choir, but right now am on leave until further notice.
