My dad gave me some money to buy gifts from him for my boys and said to powershop

I just took Britt.f7's lead and "powercleaned" the house in just one hour to get ready for my boyfriend who's coming over tomorrow. Normally, before he comes over I spend four or five hours going crazy cleaning the house. Today I did it in an hour and it looks just as good as if I'd spent five. And I am not stressed or going crazy! :tup:

Now I have the evening to relax and look forward to our day together tomorrow and my day off on Friday! ;)

Got certified sick leave, got a movie (Merida... :eek: :oops:) so I can dive into a safe-feel-like-a-hero-world, made myself some Caro Coffee and just sat down to relax as much as possible.

Just ordered the new book club book. I'm excited to be a part of a book club again. First time doing it online. Should be fun.

The above is a portrait I did of my artist friend. I am part of an artist group. During this time of year we do a portrait of each other and ship it off so they get it before christmas. My partner is in Spain and I'm in the USA. His just dried, and my getting to the post office without a power chair is a joke. LOL. Have you ever tried to push a wheelchair and carry a bunch of stuff without a bag on your chair? So we emailed a copy of the portraits. He did mine in oil and I'll post it here. He says it's picasso style. I wonder where I'll hang it? I think the two noses means somehow he knows I had to have surgery on my nose? LOL. Anyway, I do love this type of thing each year. It's really the only christmas exchange I do.

I got us mocha frappes. I will get tacos for dinner for tonight. I talked to my daughter on the phone. I am feeling better now. That is what I did for myself today.

I called the nurse in preparation of my surgery to go over my medical history and what I need to do prior to that day. Usually I would have put that call on hold until the last minute. I took care of it right away so it is one less worry on the mind.

Thank you Safenow. I did think of putting it off until the 24th(surgery is the 26th), but thought better of it. This way no growing anxiety. :)

I slept most of the day whilst watching dvds. I went for a short walk. I cleaned out the fridge. I took some rubbish out. Small things but the beginning of getting back to it.

Had my nails done and went to a birthday dinner! Guy is 58 and never had one. He had so much anxiety his arrhythmia started up.

I managed to slow him down.

I'm being picked up at 1:00pm and taken to get some food and clothes. I also borrowed a belt so my pants don't fall off while I'm out shopping. Even though I'm in a wheelchair I still have to stand up from time to time, and it's embarrassing to almost step out of your pants. LOL.

Whitneys story, I can relate to you husband. When I was a 48 I had my 3rd birthday. I thought I was going to pass out my anxiety was so high. But it was so worth it.
