I am having an awesome day today. I am reaping the results of all of my pain and anguish. I feel like I just grew up.

I left work early and went to bed to catch up on lost sleep, feel so much better now.

Scrubbed plans for the rest of the day and am doing my self care and detox baths to get ready to rumble for the next crazy busy time. Held down the fort today for my mister, and he (for once) isn't worrying himself sick about me.... YAY me!!! Personal victory.

Took myself off to the pub for a roast dinner. It reminded me of when I had a family, and gave me that comfort, however fleeting, of family.

Made cheese grits, eggs, and link sausages with fresh biscuits and orange juice for breakfast for my client and I. Enjoyed every single bite but will pay for it later, probably in spades.

I went to my daughter for a couple of hours to get away from my husband and his PTSD

I came back and he was worse.

I took myself out on a "date" to an orchestral concert.

I took a long hot shower, put on comfy clothes for the heat we have here and am now sipping on some cranberry juice and a wee bit of vodka. Just relaxing and hanging out.

Changed my outlook from a lousy one to a good one and I am feeling so much better.
