I went and got us frappes. I am staying home taking care of my husband. Somehow he pulled off part of a toenail on his big toe and I cannot get it to stop bleeding. It is from him walking on it. He needs to stay off of it. So I am just vegging out today.

Oh that must hurt horribly! Even to see it. That poor man. Thank you for taking care of him Gizmo, he is lucky to have you. I know you think you are lucky to have him, especially on his good days. But I want you to never forget, he is blessed to have you, especially on his bad days.

I went for a 20 minute walk. I got my meds from the pharmacy. I did a quick clean out of the fridge, wiped down the bathroom, emptied the rubbish, cleaned a little, cut the edge of the hedge and dropped off Kelly's keyring and keys.

Got a large chunk of my taxes done...it was painful while I was doing it, but I feel good now that it's over, like I got something accomplished. It's not so daunting anymore.

What is "mulled wines" for all us yanks over here on the other side of the pond?

It's a red cherry wine with spices and raisins in it. It looked like a light red wine. Definitely had some spice in it, not sure what. First time I ever tried it. It was from a local winery.

I have the girls and we have been having fun. We will have fun tonight too. They are staying up late with me and they have the giggles.
