What Did You Do For You Today???

I finished reading a book I started yesterday. I took a shower and put on new pj's. Now I'm chilling with a glass of white Zinfandel reading these postings. That is all for me.

I have not collapsed on the couch. I kept going and doing things. Every little thing towards emotional regulation counts.

 

[KP the nut]

I have ordered myself the face powder that the shop didn't have in stock. I bought it direct from Clinique. I also bought an eye shadow and received a free lipstick and a sample moisturiser.

I went out and watched belly dancing classes. It was good to get out again.

I am starting to shop for a bike. I am planning on buying one next month. It's really fun trying to pick one out.

I curled up under my duvet and hid from the world.

I meditated for two twenty minute periods. One was more successful than the other.

I'm sitting in front of my computer ready to get a hard day's work knocked out on my book. And that makes me happy. Well as happy as I can get.

I tried to meditate.

I got up and got on this forum which helped me to start to think again.

This was yesterday, but I forgot to put it here.

I had my hair cut and coloured, I even have highlights running through it.

I put clean underwear on and doused myself with perfume before coming to work because I really didn't feel like taking a shower. Oh, and I brushed my hair. I also made up a weak excuse to call the cute garage door repairman. I said my garage door seemed a little wiggly and could he come take a look at it this weekend sometime. He was like "SURE !" ha ha. His enthusiasm really made me smile.

Today I went to the hospital to see the Haematologist because my GP was worried that my white cell count was slightly higher than it should be.

The Consultant was not worried as it seems it has been like this in all the records he had to hand on the computor, going back to 2006.

He discharged me after just one appointment, with just a recommendation that I have my blood checked very six months, just to check it goes no higher.

One less thing for hubby to worry about.
