Picked up all the dirty tissues laying around the coffee table, washed my sheets, took a long bath and took a nap.

I dressed in nice warm clothes because it was so cold today. I read a book and finished it and started another. I even cooked some healthy food for dinner.

My mom use to tape a little bag to the table to dispose of her tissues. Now, whenever my kids get sick, I give them a bag to put their tissues in. Less chance of illness spreading. Hope you feel better soon!

I left work three hours early, went home and took a nap.

I never thought of that. I usually put a bag on the floor, aim the tissue at it, but miss the bag a lot, lol! I like the tape idea . . . thanks!

This was last night. There was a post on my wall on face book that really caused me to be upset. I found I could easily remove it. I think it is without letting the other person know. But even if she did, she knew I wouldn't like that post. It made me feel in control knowing I didn't have to be drawn into the argument of it.

My friend who is my real estate agent took me out for lunch today. Yum. I had such a good time.

Am sorry, this is from Thursday morning, but the library server blocked this site. I gave a congrats card to my nurse practitioner, marking our 7th anniversary. Her face lit up bright, with the card, I gave her. I wanted her, to know, I appreciated everything, she has helped me, with, over the past 7 years.

I curled up in the chair with a cup of coffee and read a few chapters of The Casual Vacancy (current book club read).

I took care of my family. I know that sounds like I'm doing something for someone else, but I think it benefits me too. It helps fill me with purpose.

I took myself to pow wow and I met two women who were champion dancers and talked to me about "regalia". I was glad to get their input and it was cool to be around some people who look like me. Even my husband said, "A lot of those people have your face, and your hair." It was a compliment.
