Opened my KK this morning and got a coloring book and my favorite brand of colored pencils. Love it , love it, love it.

I just wrote a letter to myself as part of a self-compassion exercise and I found it to be very healing.

Cleaned my apartment & a lot of self care I don't remember because I was busy conversing with memories.

I wasn't feeling well, so I did not sing in the choir at church today. Sometimes you have to take a back seat and take care of self first. Later, when you are feeling better, that is the time to do for others.

I sat with my pain in silence, for hours on end.

Ignored the phone at work three times while I was doing Yoga in my office. (I called all people back afterwards.)

Snapped out of dissociation & took care of my health & got to where I'm safe even when not feeling safe there, instead of where I'm not safe and feeling totally safe. :banghead:
