I came home today and had another "good" conversation with the hubs. (We'll see how long it lasts)
I told him flat out, this is my time to fix me. I will not be able to accomplish that with him throwing road block everytime I turn around. So he can either allow me to do this from here, or I can start over at a shelter with our son, his choice.

He has his 1st counciling apt tomorrow. I suggested highly that he use this tool to work on his core issues, to better himself, and not use it as a bitch fest about me. I hope he takes the advice and works on himself.....you can lead a horse to water.....but....

I also thanked him, I think the final outcome of his conversation with my parents, will once and for all allow me to be free from their unreachable expectations, and the quest for approval that will never come to be.

I have a few ideas about my future, I'm going to keep them close for now, but hope to share in the future.
