What Do You Owe Yourself?

  • Patience...and lots of it.
  • Ongoing raised awareness of the painful long and short-term consequences of allowing my past to consume me based on what I and others close to me choose to consume...those energies of all that ongoing abuse, neglect, and exploitation take quite a while to fade out, especially after decades of blindly consuming them...only to have it shoved back into my face around every turn in some form or another.
  • More internal and external activity purposely geared towards overall wellness, both for self and other living and feeling beings within my abilities.
  • The time and space to healthily hold on to the clear vision/memories of how f*cking good actual wellness feels compared to how "good" the very brief and ill-perceived notion of "treating" myself feels, especially once the flavors of my favorite addictions leave my taste bud region and start breaking down my innards.
  • A refresher course on how nothing tastes as good as good health feels.
