Angle mate, I've lost count of the number of times that so-called public services have f*cked me over despite what I've done.
I am not sure why, but there is a large element of the 'civil' service who thoroughly despise THE Services, maybe it is a bit of resentful jealousy.
Write that letter, really. And pick up your contact with the forces journalist, tell them too.
Embarass the bastards. (Not HRH, obviously).

Well our government ministers just got a new superannuation package and the veterans were pissed on and denied.

We should all get a huge island and make it ours. A veterans island. I am sure there would be enough skills to make it work.

Of course we would allow people in to work like psych's etc, but they would be on strict visas. We would have our own laws like North Korea.

Ok sorry about that. Here it is. Noted that there are other lists. I really wonder about the Data collection technique. Scandinavians being notoriously jealous of each other and Denmark being on top for awhile, I can imagine the conversation.
