My wife and I were at the mall this afternoon. I usually sit in the food court while she shops. We both had our service dogs with us. She was in a store and a little boy came up to her SD and struck his face. Her SD barked a few times but didn't react much more than that. My wife scolded him and he ran away. A few seconds later he returned with his little sister. He struck at my wife's dogs face again with his little sister hitting him too. This time her dog nipped the little girl's arm. It didn't break the skin. This happened at the register, and the cashier saw it all and stepped out shooing the kids away. My wife had already payed and was chatting with the cashier. Being that she could leave quickly, she did. She came to me in an almost panic telling me we had to leave NOW! It took a couple min to figure out what happened, and I told her to calm down. she and the dog did nothing wrong. The cops wouldn't charge her or try to take the dog. The mom of the kids would be charged for interfering with a SD in the performance of it's duties and maybe some more charges.

Our dogs behave themselves very well. Many people don't even notice them unless they see them when we are walking. Those f*cking little brats and their mom.... everyone noticed the brats because they were picking up stuff and throwing it on the floor. The mom wasn't doing anything to stop them or discipline them.... :mad:

I would have backhanded the f*ck out of those kids. Most of the time, I yell at other people's kids to discipline them when they deserve it but sometimes a kid deserves to have its hide tanned and I'll do precisely that if its parents aren't doing their jobs. Just be prepared to have to put the parent in its place too if you do that.

I can't stand kids, especially other people's kids. Most modern parents let their brats run rampant (like you experienced). I have found that simply looking at the parent and saying, "Make...It...Stop." Gets them to at least wrap their arm protectively around the simpering whelp and usher them away from me. With the occasional, "This is my child. She/he's not an it."

To which I respond. "To you It is your child. To me, It is an aggravation. Control it, or I will remove it."

Barbarian, your story has turned me red because of these brats. So, if my comments are aggressive it is not toward you or your wife.
I think your wife did what was best for her at the time and for that I commend her. However if it was me with my Service Dog (SD), I would have had the cashier immediately call the police and report the incident. I am tired of f*ck heads thinking it is fun to mess with SDs working and doing the job that needs to be done. I would request that the mother receive a ticket or a summons for violating the law (if you have a SD protection law) and I would have reported that the SD protected its self in a lawful manner. What I would be afraid of is the bitch of a mother filling a lawsuit later with an infected arm that the dog did not cause. It will be hard to prove that the dog’s bite didn’t break the skin without the police report. Around here the worst that would happen is the dog would be in home quarantined for 14 days, and that is if only the bite broke the skin. It is getting so bad here in Commi-fornia that I do not want to leave my house with my SD because of the issue I have with stupid humans and their pet dogs. I have to now carry dog spray to keep other dogs from coming into contact with my SD, which causes her stress as she loves to work and only wants to work and not be social or play.
It’s a felony to “joke” about shooting someone here in this blessed state, so I will tell you that I would want to take out my Tazer and taze the lot of inbred beasts. Maybe that would teach those little f*ckers a lesson.

I actually kind of want a child, but only if I can take it out a few times a week and then put it away when I get bored. It's called actually having a relationship with my nieces but they live so far away now.

If you are referring to my comment, reality this state believes in the rights of the illegal immigrant more then those of the US Citizen.

My rights as a Service Member and US Citizen are being erroded daily in this state and the country. I shake my head everyday when I read the headlines. Spock is correct in Kommi-fornia, our rights have been taxed away and given to those that are here illegally.
