I feel like those of us that have served take respect for elders/superiors/ rules pretty seriously. Seeing people that just have blatant disregard for others and common sense sets off all sorts of alarms. Personally, it makes me constantly want to walk up to people and "correct" them. Though I know its not my job or place I can't help but be angry at these idiots.
This is in my top 3 of 'what makes me angry!'
I have learned to assess the situation before I react (if I react). However, I will admit that when a young person steps up in front of an Elder (Veteran or Not) I cannot stop myself from saying something. The reason that popped in my mind is because a comment was made within earshot to the affect of "move old man." I just could not step aside.
