What Moved You Emotionally Today?

Day 30.:cp:

Moved to anger by the ignorance and obstinacy of my brother over a sensitive situation, and (because I don't want to end the challenge on a down note), moved by the afterwards in the book I was reading, written by the sister of the author. She completed the book after the author died, and in that short message it was so clear how much love and respect she had for her, and how much completing the story brought them closer than ever, even though her sister had died..

I sat on a horse this morning for my horse therapy (to feel more) and it was really nice, I began to feel relaxed and noticed how tired and sad I actually felt. It was nice to get so grounded.

And in the afternoon when I felt a lot of fear I sent my friend a message and she called me from her work. So sweet and that helped a bit.

I was moved today by an article that was on Facebook about a farmer from my home town. He is being charged with Cruelty To Animals even though his vet gave his farm a 100% healthy farm rating. It seems that the local authorities are charging him with cruelty to animals, even though he does a lot more for his animals than we do for ours here in North Carolina! Farmers here let their cows stay out in the cold and freezing weather all winter, but he is being hassled because he allows his to stay out in small shelters in the cold. It seems the water was frozen on top, but the animals break the ice and drink from the water under the ice, but that is considered cruel there? I dunno... I think since his vet says it is OK, the vet should know better than the state! I am outraged on his behalf.

Yesterday: I was moved by my mother - who still was strong enough to handle my grandmother's birthday party. ...my grandmother treated her badly and she was short before crying, but she didn't give up.

Today: The feeling of a embrace and a kiss of one of my imaginary friends. I couldn't feel any of them during the last weeks..

Day 30
I wanted so bad to trot to the gym & take the collected offering to GoodWill, however my body whined otherwise.

So...
*I roasted a chicken & had a little home picnic with just my furbabies,
*took a long luxurious shower
*snuggled up in toasty attire & blanket
*watched "Into the Woods"
*watched the new Hobbit Movie
*came here to celebrate a lovely thread...(which I will continue)

before my well needed nap. ;) and I do thank you all for being present in the stride of positivity or moving experiences. I look forward to sharing again with those who continue.

I was moved to anger today when someone started gossiping about a friend of mine. I stuck up for my friend and got shot down with that persons nosy opinion on the matter. It was about the fact that my friend is in a wheelchair and is afraid of falling again, which happened a few months ago at which time she broke her hip. She was in the hospital and then went to rehab. This gossiper was saying that she was taking advantage of her husband, making him push the wheelchair when she should instead get over her fear and start to walk again! I was so mad. My friend and her hubby just got married recently and he is doing what a good husband should do. Help his wife! Why can't people mind their own business! She thinks she knows better than my friend's doctors? My friend is in a wheelchair because she needs to be! Sheeesh!

@Britt.f7 What a glorious moment to share!

It is a blessing when one can glow in the aftermath of instilling values in their adult-children and those offspring deciding to further embrace those values as their own! To me it is the greatest part of the legacy to see compassion within one's child. So happy for the two of you.
