Thanks for so many great perspectives on this- I really appreciate it.
I've not spoken to my T/group leader yet, but I had a wild idea late last night. It might be possible to substitute low-sugar popsicles for the exercise. Think those might be called ice lollies in other parts of the world? The temperature would add a facet to the 'experience' aspect, and I think that might work with most special diets/ food issues.
