Relationship What To Do While You're "giving Them Space"

I'm currently giving my Marine space as to not overwhelm him and push him for more than he can give.

I'm having a really hard time with this. What do you guys do while your twiddling your thumbs waiting? I feel like I'm going crazy sometimes. I poke around on here a lot, study a LOT (I'm in school) and sleep a lot, spend time with my family and Facebook.

I'm in counseling dealing with my overly attaching to people (nice way to say obsessed) but I only get to go once every three weeks.

What do you guys do while waiting to reach out?????

That's good that you're getting help for that. Being with someone who has ptsd can mean LOTS of time without them. I don't know your circumstances or your relationship boundaries, but for me personally, I kept busy living MY life. When he was in it, that was a bonus.
