The most recent one I had was

Huh?

When credit card company knows you are sick and on tranquilize (benzo.) Quiet calm call. But end of call telling me, "I should try to relax."

I say, "that's why they have me on a tranquilize."

Like seriously I use to be most relaxed person (besides very hypervigilant.) But after past being re-awoken I have so much anxiety and tension. Then medicine withdrawals. I hate being told to "relax."

Before I'm the guy on remote beach relaxing under palm trees reading a book. Tell me to relax? I know how to relax. Doesn't mean it will fix ptsd or medicine withdrawals.

Talking to a friend the other day about the possibility of me needing eye surgery to clear my infected tear duct. She has had the same operation so knows what to expect.

When I told her that just the thought of it framed me out, she commented,

"Oh its OK, they come at you from behind so you can't see them.". Like THAT'S going to relax me!

Never tell a PTSD Survivor that they are playing the victim card in the middle of their flashback. Matter of fact ...stand the heck back in case they think they need to kick your arsh in order to live...

Had one this morning, from a friend who knows what I go through, but just doesn't seem to get it...

"Sorry I woke you, you can go back to sleep now." - yeah it really is THAT easy!

That really is a facepalm moment. I don't think I know anyone over the age of 6 who can just go back to sleep after being woken up :facepalm:
