4:56 AM, 10/13/19 and I am rocking back and forth in a chair that is NOT a rocking chair.

I have to prepare for a visit to the insurance company this Tuesday and I don't know where to start, but I have to start somewhere, so making a budget is first!

Well, I am drinking coffee and attempting to wake up on this crisp 36-degree morning. I am also trying to prepare myself for a long Sunday.

I tend to miss my sister a lot on Sundays and today will be no exception... She transitioned to the spirit world a year ago, this month. We were really close. I hope that I can keep my thoughts positive and focused on healing.

I am also lurking about trying to catch up with friends.

Trying to wind.down after being out to another town to visit friends of my Dad. Have noticed lately I seem to get more stressed or overloaded whilst out and about.

Sitting in my chair with the bitter taste of old coffee in my mouth...thinking about all the things I should be doing right now...."shoulding" myself in the face. I need to move or be content with not.

I just finished eating dinner and I'm listening to J talk about tomorrow. (His first day at his new job). He's so excited and ready!! It's only 6:30 and I'm already in my jammies hoping to go to bed early tonight. We'll see. Gonna watch some TV or a movie for a little bit and call it a day. Well, after I have some ice cream. ?

I just finished having a slice of the best apple pie I've ever had and am now watching the baseball playoffs. Go Nats!

My ? is back in the hospital. She quit eating and is jaundice again. The doc put a feeding tube in her throat and fed her. She vomited up the plastic tube that was in her throat so she is staying overnight. They will put a new one in the morning.

So worn out with her. She just quits eating. This is the second time and I am broke! I love her and would hate to think of a life without her but it may be. I can't cry but teared up. She's only 2 1/2.

She does. I think she is jealous of an outside cat. My boyfriend feeds the outside cat ( stray) and it really bothers her. I think she's jealous of this other cat. He gives her attention so Ash is super jealous. Wants to go outside... She saw the cat the other day.Of course, boyfriend says it ain't so. Sometimes I despise him. But I looked it up online. It says a sudden change can set them off. Death of family member, blah...blah..

Doc says she is more jaundice than last time but I can't spend another 800 dollars. So they put the feeding tube in her and we will have to dilute her food with water and slowly, very slowly put it in that tube. And then of course, there is the vomit but I can put anti- vomit pills in tube..

Sheesh.

I put my foot down and said that stray cat is not my responsibility. So he will not feed her anymore.

A friend's cat was anorexic, but she responded well to being petted while she ate. Not sure if that would help yours?
She was also prescribed Avanza/mirtazapine (from memory, in microdoses) which I was mildly amused at since the cat and I were taking the same antidepressant. I think it can be used as an appetite stimulant for them?

We got the Mirtazapine already. It goes in her ears plus she'll get a shot that should last 24-36 after we pick her up. I'll try the petting, thanks! Its funny that you take it too!

I'm kicking back and doing nothing much. Drinking tea and going to stare at the telly till time for dinner
had a small operation this morning and was first on the list, so that was good - over and done with and out yes!!
home now and feeling a little bit dodgy but don't want to go and have a sleep bc then I will be awake all night...
