I am also whole food plant based (vegan). I think that is why I have been able to survive as I have with so much good health.
Pleasure to meet ya'! Making that shift definitely improved the quality of my existence in ways I thought were totally out of reach for my aging self. I wish it hadn't taken damn near half a century to figure it out, as the long-term damage still rears its ugly head more often than I'd like via chronic pain. We rarely think of the energetic absorption of what we choose to consume. I can never un-see or un-feel it now that I've lived in both worlds, and a few in between.
I do the B12, dulse flakes as a regular seasoning in many dishes, D3, zinc (when I remember), and various tinctures and flower essences as needed/wanted. Did a liver/gall bladder flush after my trip to the ER a little over two years ago. Luckily, it wasn't severe enough to require surgery, and even luckier, I have two friends very well versed in the art of detox and healthy plant-based nutrition, as well as being master herbalists, an iridologist and acupuncturist. Game changers in my world, in every way imaginable. Still amazed at the things I released during those times. Whew! Learning opportunities abound.
It's been well over 5ish+ years worth of trying just about every supplement, diet approach, eliminations, detoxes, etc., and it wore me down even more, on top of the prescription trials and lack of meaningful/thorough care I was receiving via insurance approved providers. Grateful for the patient and generous healers I've met along the way, for each seed planted, and even for the shit that gets tossed my way that I can use as fertilizer. It's all necessary, or so they say. Unlearning more and more every day. lol
