Welcome Lexi-I'm really glad that you decided to join and give it a try. I think it is really important to find as many resources as possible that will support you on your journey to healing. I am glad that you have your fathers support also. I think that you will find that very helpful.

Hi everyone,

This is Peter H's daughter, have created an account.

Trauma: We know what's wrong, unfortunately it's not something that can be cured, just managed. On a strict diet and daily medications. And great to hear you have family in Stavanger too. I've been there once, beautiful place :)

Justmehere: I'm so sorry to hear that you have to take medication every day as well :( and wow wheat/gluten free diet? I've found that most GF food tastes like cardboard, have you found anything that tastes really good? I have to avoid soy (allergic to it), it's in almost everything! And great that you're getting results :) congratulations, should be proud of the hard work you've done.

Brat17: Thank you :) Only problem is I have no idea what resources I would need or even where to start looking for them.

Oh, that sucks. Yeah, it is. I've been pretty much all over the south half of Norway, including the mountains (driving over them during summer is an amazing experience), and it's lovely. Spending time outside is also quite therapeutic.

Oh wow really? So lucky :) I don't remember much from being there, I was only 11. Where abouts is Bergen? (Apologies for my spelling) I believe we visited there.

@Lexi H Yeah, I love travelling and have also moved 17 times + having divorced parents where the one I did not live with moved a lot too causing me to see even more during visits. Now I spend lots of my money travelling on my own, despite being only in the beginning of my teens. Bergen is on the west coast, the centre of the city is basically in the sea (parts of Bergen where not really there; they built more land by moving landmasses into the sea and building huge docks, so some of it is literally in the water) and it's surrounded by mountains.

Oh, and it's about 5 hours from Stavanger, depending a little on how you travel, by sea being the fastest option after air.
