News Wounded Warrior Project Partying Off Donations?

The employees of this charity seem to be living the good life off donations. $3 million for a conference at a 5 star resort in Colorado, $250,000 per year on candy and soda, $26 million on conferences in 2014, first class travel, lavish parties with loads of booze, and only 60% of donations spent on vets.

How much of the charity sector is a rip off / fraud, and how many of the people in it are psychopathic rip off merchants, I'm nut sure but I'm very pessimistic.

I used to stop over in Nairobi on a regular basis.

The conference facilities at the hotels were always full with charity orientated conferences. The best impression that I could get, was that there was the "conference" with associated field trips to projects near to game parks, so naturally the "delegates" would stay overnight at the game park...

It appeared to be very large racket of "charity" people (and presumably state sector folks too) going on expenses paid safaris in Kenya.

The Kenyan guys I was working with were pretty libertarian, and they absolutely detested the food aid guys who were really breeding dependency (there had been a fantastically good harvest and they were still doling out food aid).
