He won't get into the VA with a dishonorable discharge but a court martial for desertion could land him back in captivity, this time in Leavenworth.

The guy in uniform who was still active duty was uncovered (violation of uniform regulations), and complaining about a civilian wearing his cover (civilian... hello!) then he STOLE the civilians personal property, his cover (another UCMJ infraction)... seriously WTF?!?!?

One of the main things wearing the uniform represents is upholding the constitution. Freedom of speech is one of the cornerstones of the constitution. I've seen a lot of things that got my blood boiling, but had to just let it go because it was a protected activity. I'm not about to try and force my belief system on anybody else particularly if their activity that is pissing me off is guaranteed under the constitution. That guy in uniform tried to intimidate and threaten the civilian for exercising his free speech (terrorist threats).

I hope the military guy spends some quality time on the "carpet" in front of his CO and loses at least one paygrade for not being able to control his anger and the crimes he committed.

I've taken this extreme position on this because I think the military guy was way overboard, and hate to see abuse of authority (weather or not it's actually there - civilian vs military). Part of the reason I'm so screwed in the head is abuse of authority leading to illegal orders I had no choice but to follow or face such bad consequences and evals I would not have been able to reenlist.

Great "lead by example" there mister...

I'm sure that's that same f*ck face in theater that would chew you out for a dirty uniform before you went into a chow hall.

Could have been handled a lot better, but someone wanted to be a on a power trip.

I would have said "Oh, you're prior service, can I please see some identification? Great, thanks, charlie mike!"

That was crazy, little hard to follow but I agree, if you're in uniform it is no longer about your, you represent all of us.

I think they released those Taliban leaders for a real reason. They just got rid of the 4 top prisoners in Gitmo. Now when the prez says the detention site is closing and everyone is being released he cant take much blame for letting go low and some medium level guys.

Its not the only reasoning I have but it is what has the most probable reason. Another one chimes in as aiding an abetting a known terror organization. I think that is impeachable... I hope SOMETHING happens. Think of the warriors that were wounded or died to capture those shit heads.

Seal team Six time, after these f*ckers Obama released lead us to their commanders on the ground in Quatar.......Maybe....If I had to release them I sure would use the bastards.

yeah I would have implanted a gps inside each of them. Just so I could wait a few weeks and then plant a maverick from a reaper on each of them. Yeah....that would be nice. Its a shame it wont happen.

Here's the out coming on the Parris Island sergeant major charged in alleged assault during protest

The sergeant major at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island was arrested Friday, accused of assaulting a protester outside the base Thursday, according to the Port Royal Police Department.
Sgt. Maj. Paul Archie, 44, turned himself in to police and was charged with third-degree assault and battery.

Archie, who serves as senior enlisted adviser to Parris Island's commanding general, approached a protest taking place on Parris Island Gateway near Marina Boulevard, police said.

The group was protesting negotiations that led to the release last month of a U.S. Army soldier held captive by a Taliban-aligned group in Afghanistan, police confirmed. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl was exchanged for five Taliban prisoners in a swap negotiated by the U.S. government.

Archie got into a heated argument with a protester who wore a military campaign hat. At one point, Archie's head struck the hat, knocking it off the protester's head, the release said. Archie took the hat and proceeded onto Parris Island, where he was stopped at the gate, according to the release. Staff retrieved the hat and returned it to its owner.
