...when you start checking this website more frequently than facebook.

...when you share this website to facebook because you have other friends who suffer from ptsd, and at least one with DID.

...when this website actually manages to give you a sense of stability in a time of instability.

Seriously guys... I love this place already.

I have multiple disorders so I don't know if these fit, but I think that you know you have PTSD when......

When you blame yourself for anything and everything that goes wrong.
When you always imagine the worst case scenario first.
When most everyone seems like a possible threat.
When you apologize for apologizing.
When someone else touches your skin, you shut down.
When God seems like the enemy.
When you believe you have already "died" once.
When your sitting in the cinema watching a preview, then it suddenly ends and you realize that you blacked out during the showing because it was violent.
When you isolate yourself for years on end.
When you refer to yourself as "we".

Sadly story of my life lately....

When you believe you have already "died" once.

When you ask what did I do in previous life to deserve this? Was I some evil dedicator?

When you isolate yourself for years on end.

and don't even realize it. Just a way of self-preservation....

When you try to play the piano only by feeling and almost start to cry and cannot stop trembling.
