When your university makes panel studies concerning stress and you fill in the entrance questions and only get the answer "You need therapy, you're not fit for the study here!"...

When sleep is either a feast or a famine.

When someone you know who is usually quite dismissive of your mental health is going through a period of anxiety (due to external factors). It takes all your strength not to shout in there face "this is how I feel every day". Or even better say some of the stuff they say to you back to them. "Well maybe if you had a better outlook on life your mortgage wouldn't have been denied Mary". "Stan if you open yourself up to spirituality I'm sure your husband wouldn't have had an affair". "Maybe yoga might help you with your redundancy Kat".

When people talk about pregnancy and ask you about your plans and you answer "Don't worry. There won't happen anything" and they look at you very shocked and say "Why worry? That's something positive..." and you stand there like...:sorry:

When you take a nap and have a weird dream that you're hurrying across the house and things are missing and everything looks weird. And you start thinking in your dream. You think "Everything looks weird. Something is wrong. Am I dreaming? I think I'm dreaming. Am I dissociating? Am I dissociating in a dream?" And then you wake up suddenly.

I was asked this a.m. if I had any children? And I said no, not me, nor my bio-sister, nor my half-sister - none of us had any children and their faces looked blank. Hey, as MariaY shared ..."I don't pay any attention to this anymore." Nope. Different strokes...
