You Know You Have PTSD When...

Last night going to bed I realized there is another "You know you have PTSD when:". You have 6 different pillows on your bed because on any given night depending on your pain level, need to lay flat or in fetal position, etc - each different pillow fulfills a different need.

Hey girls, the same here and I have a couple of others stashed in the cupboard just in case. Must have at least ten and there is only me in the house...... duh :(

You mean not everyone talks to their pets like people and arrange baby-sitters for them like for children?

I talk to my dogs and I reply for them in a different voice :rolleyes:.

I can hear my kitty guys in my head by the looks on their faces, but the dogs I do speak for them - especially my deaf dog. I used sign language to train him so to other people he seems like a normal dog. But he is congenitally deaf - and such a 'boo-boo- dog. He weighs about fifty pounds and gets on my lap, cuddling like a baby.

My Max is the same. He was even lonely this morning when I was in the shower. He came into the bathroom and sat next to the bath waiting for me. He knows when I get up and go straight for the shower that it is a work day.

He also climbs/jumps onto my lap - ooofffff
