You Know You Have PTSD When...

... you think the session is going to go smoothly and then the rug is pulled out from under you:
... on the way to therapy you have an epiphony which you share with your T and he helps you realize the deeper meaning which terrifies and distresses you and you spend the time working through the real stuff (exhaustingly difficult 45 minutes). You thought the session was going to be easy. Ya right.
 
When words are not enough anymore. Rage is the only thing you feel. Anger is under control, just waiting to explode.

When you are trying new meds and you feel like a floating cloud of confusion( sleepiness induced).
