Oh, what a strange day for me. 22 August is my fathers birthday and the date I married my second ex.

Apart from being abusers the only other thing they have in common is my father is dead and so is my marriage :dead:

Im enjoying some decent bed rest and cuddles with cat and dog before I head off to get my nails done.

It was all too go Bubz. Came home via Punt Rd and 3 lanes down to 1 to fix a side street. At 2pm the traffic was no moving. :arghh:Glad to be home in my PJ's now. :smile:

Here's the end result of my productive day today!

Other half went out and got nibbles while I was getting my nails done, had the nicest jelly slice either of us has ever had, jelly light, custard stuff was a fluffy light texture, and the base was crisp, crumbly and perfectly cooked! Totally going back!

Haven't been able to get a decent night's sleep or nap afterwards for about 4 days, starting to get really edgy

I am having a couple of days holiday :) despite having an enormous backlog of terribly important things that I haven't done. Mostly Ok and good except for not so helpful ruminating self hating internal dialogue.

I am having a good day today. I got all my chores done and food ready for the week. In about an hour I'll be off to barbecue with friends and play Mario Party :).

The wedding was on sat, then I had to drive to the other side of Coldstream yesterday so that the other half could see his younger sisters, but yesterday was absolutely god awful.

When I heard some of the things said, it wasn't a surprise, but then the caliber of things said got worse and the brother in law had told us that the mother in law hated me, but when the other half confronted his mother and put the screw on his sisters. .....turns out the opinions of me had ALL COME FROM THE BROTHER IN LAW.
The final straw for me was when my partner's cheating, lying, plotting drunkard whore of an mother in law pulled my brother in law over and asked if he was SURE the baby was my partners.

Some really horrible things were said and done, to the point where I literally had an eye twitch for the hr n a half drive back home.

Thank God the other half has taken carers leave for me from tomorrow, because I'm on the verge of shut down from stress and rage.
