Zeus Is Dying

Zeus is doing great! The nasty cancerous kidney is out, he is awake, and now just a few days to recover.

Looks like we'll get a little more time :)

I'm so so happy to read this :) It goes great with my coffee and my Girl lounging by my side on the couch! What great news. Such a strong spirit of love you have and Zeus is a pup with so much strength and connection to you, I love that.

Zeus is home!

He did so well they released him today. Now the difficulty will be keeping him "quiet". He really does feel great.

Kidney is off to the university and I should get some more information next week about what "stage" this cancer was in.

But it is wonderful to have some more time

.

I probably need to change the title of this to Zeus is living! Boy is he living today, I think he has brought me every toy he can find to toss. Just a few more days and then he gets his stitches out and the "all clear" to just be a dog again.

Zeus gives back much more than I give him. His time may not be as long as it is for other dogs, but this dog loves life and doesn't miss a beat. Maybe I need to take lessons from Zeus, and stop worrying about what may or may not happen, and just enjoy what is.
